First of all, thanks to everyone who came out, helped out or brought records on the NO / STAB tour, we all had a great time and both bands are on top of their game right now. I'm delaying re-opening the mailorder for a couple more days in order to sort inventory and also add a bunch of new titles to the distro, but I wanted to announce a new release that we've been sitting on for a while first...
I'm really happy to announce that Static Shock will be co-releasing with our good friends at Night School Records a split 7" for Sea Lions and Golden Grrrls to commerate their joint UK tour next month. This may seem a bit of an odd release on Static Shock for some, but I couldn't be happier to be putting this one out. Sea Lions debut lp, alongside the two 7"s that Golden Grrrls put out last year ranked high in my favourite records of 2011. The split will be out next month in time for the tour (see dates below), and a small amount of copies will be available via mailorder afterwards.

In other news, the Violent Reaction 7" is currently having the finishing touches done to mastering and will be sent to press immediately after that. I'll have more info as well as tracks to check out up shortly, and both of these records will be available from mid-July (alongside represses of the NO 12" and Urban Blight - Total War 7"). Following that will be a new 7" from London's Sauna Youth, but more info on that soon.
